The MISSION 

We are on a mission to provide creative writers and aspiring journalists with the opportunity to share their unpublished experiences. Giving readers a unique reading experience that deserves their support for such a project.
 

The idea, story. We open a new window 

The web is the future for journalism and publishing. As the web has become full of newspapers and magazines, making selection a difficult thing for readers. Newspapers and magazines have cut back on in-depth topics. This is annoying for readers!
You do not want topics like fashion and business to distract you while you are flipping the pages of a magazine looking for a short story or an attractive newspaper story.
We know great storytelling is part of great journalism. So in Malaysia Tales we will move away from congestion and distracting readers' minds. We will focus our content mainly on three topics: short story, poetry, and related journalism. Our aim is clearly to deliver rich, fun, and quality content.
The magazine will publish its topics on weekly-basis.
The magazine will publish first-time publishes, up-and-coming, writers side by side with established writers. 
Malaysia Tales is a magazine issued from Malaysia to the wide world to promote the name of this country on the world literary stage.
We will publish writings that present the world in startling ways. We want to see writers take chances. In fiction and essays, we will produce stories written by and about all ages and types of people, stories that change the way we view the world. We want to amaze and inspire.
 

The Magazine's progress 

I began planning the project in March 2018.
In May 2018 the idea of ​​the project became clear as a literary magazine, and work began on the main theme.
Then the work became focused on writing the content to be ready for publication when the magazine launches.
In October 2018, the website will be established after the funding is received to launch the magazine on December 1st, 2018.
 

Why crowdfunding?

The main objective of crowdfunding is involving everyone to become part of a project that benefits the whole community. Your contribution to this project will open the door for many creative people who want to share their stories with you. The success of this project will pave the way for talents that may someday become stars and you will be the reason for their successes.
 

Budget plan 

We are looking for your support to this project, that will help us to pay the cost of it. We need to pay for the site creating and hosting, and for the marketing as well. At an advanced stage, we want to pay the writers and designers, so we hope that your interest in this project will continue.
We have set up an amount that allows us to start the project directly.
 

About Me (The project’s creator )

I am a writer, editor, and a journalist
From Syria, and I live in Malaysia which, for me, is a second homeland.
Writing is my lifestyle and my passion, I studied journalism and media; attended and supervised writing workshops such as journalism, short stories, and scriptwriting, and worked with some freelance web sites as a writer, editor, and journalist.
